Welcome To The World Of DaDunk

DaDunk is a danish performance groupspecialized in rythmic musical theater inspired by
the english group Stomp, music and dance from Africa, Cuba, Brazil and American HipHop.

DaDunk is a unique combination of humor, rythms, energy, voice, dance and theatre, which creates a musical universe never seen before.

Dunk means barrel in Danish, but DaDunk is also the sound of a heartbeat...dadunk..dadunk...

Be prepared for DaDunk the heartbeat of trash music!

DaDunk has performed in Tyrkey and around Scandinavia, but DaDunk is now
approaching the rest of the world.

A brief History...

In fall 2003, Søren Raffnsøe og Jeppe Bai created Dadunk.
The goal became a 10 piece outfit, all with special abilities ranging in alternativ percussion, dance and drama.

The first show was a 15 minut "tour de force" of
"Clumsy Hands" by Hans Christian Andersen, created for the big final of the
"European Youth Music Festival" in Tivoli, Copenhagen may 2004.

In fall 2004 the show was rearranged into a 45 minutes show for the
"Trend Show 2005" in Istanbul Turkeydecember 2004.

In spring 2005 the show was translated to Danish for extensiv touring
of Denmark in 2005-2006, and the rest is history...
